Create a Performance Improvement Plan

A focused, corrective plan with concrete remediation and a review checkpoint.

A Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) is for someone who is off track. Sageo drafts concrete remediation from the employee's framework, and the manager reviews it before release.

Steps

    Open Performance Improvement Plans from the sidebar, under the Development section.

  2. 2

    In New Improvement Plan, search for the employee and enter the focus, the performance gaps to address.

    Choose Generate Plan. Sageo drafts remediation actions grounded in the framework. You can do this with or without an open cycle.

  4. 4

    Review and edit the actions as the manager, then release the plan.

Tip

For growth toward the next level rather than corrective action, use Promotion Plans instead.
